Cancellation conditions

CANCELLATION AND ALTERATIONS

1. Booking alterations.

By writing to the campsite (by post or email) customers may request  for stays to be altered (concerning the date or the type of accommodation) in the same campsite or in another residence run by NV 't Waterschaep, subject to availability and options. Postponements until the following season are not permitted. If no alterations are made, customers must adhere to the original reservation conditions, or cancel the reservation in line with the conditions pertaining to the cancellation insurance. An administrative fee of 15 euros will be charged.

Requests to extend the duration of stays will be honoured subject to availability and in line with applicable prices. Requests to reduce the duration of stays are deemed to be partial cancellations and will be subject to the terms and conditions which apply to cancellation and termination of stays. Alteration of a reservation is possible up to 15 days before the arrival date.

2. Unused nights.

In the event of stays which are interrupted or cut short for one of the following reasons:

-Border closures by administrative decision

-Administrative closure of the campsite

-Mandatory quarantine upon the customer's arrival or after the customer's return to his/her country. In this case we always ask for a certificate.

-Travel limited to a specified number of kilometres by administrative decision, preventing travel to the campsite

In these cases, a credit voucher for an amount corresponding to the number of unused nights , valid for two years, will be issued by the campsite. If the customer refuses this voucher, at his request the corresponding amount shall be paid, less 15% of the price of the stay, with a minimum of 15 euros.

Apart from the reasons stated above, all interrupted or shortened stays (late arrival, early departure) due to the customer will not be subject to refunds or credit vouchers.

3. Cancellation by NV 't Waterschaep. In the event of cancellation by NV 't Waterschaep, except in case of force majeure, the amounts transferred for the reservation will be completely reimbursed. This cancellation shall nevertheless not incur the payment of damages or interest.

4. Cancellation due to the customer

4.1. In case of cancellation by the customer without taking out cancellation insurance

4.1.1. In case of force majeure

For one of the following reasons, preventing the stay:
-Border closures by administrative decision
-Mandatory quarantine of the customer upon his arrival or after the customer's return to his country. In this case we always ask for a certificate.
-Travel limited to a specified number of kilometres by administrative decision, preventing travel to the campsite

In these cases, a credit voucher valid for one year will be issued by the campsite, for an amount corresponding to the amount already paid by the customer, minus the administration fee of 15 euros. If the customer rejects this credit voucher, at his request the corresponding amount will be paid, less cancellation costs: 15% of the amounts paid, with a minimum of 30 euros.

4.1.2. For all other reasons

Case 1: Cancellation up to 15 (fifteen) days before the start of the stay

A credit voucher for an amount corresponding to the total of amounts already paid, valid for one year, will be issued by the campsite, after deduction of 15 euros by way of administration fee. If the customer rejects this credit voucher, at his request the corresponding amount will be paid, less cancellation costs: 15% of the amounts paid, with a minimum of 30 euros.

Case 2: Cancellation less than 15 (fifteen) days before the start of the stay

No refund will be paid.

4.2. If customers cancel their bookings having taken out cancellation insurance
